"I'm Erik Swanson, though most people know me by my nickname, ""Gunnar"". I graduated from VCSU after a tour in Iraq, which set me back a few years. I have been a personal trainer for about 3 years, and have been involved in the fitness industry for about 5 years, even designing my own transdermal supplements. I have read just about everything I could get my hands on having to do with fitness and human anatomy/physiology. It was not until my tour in Iraq that I started reading a book called ""Heavy Duty: Mind and Body"" by a man by the name of Mike Mentzer. Mike was the very first person that looked at the actual science of exercise. I had not realized that the fitness industry was based largely on tradition, and the profits of the industry continue because people continue to fail and try one thing after another. Mike was the first to say that the whole industry was a scam, filled with false statements, misconceptions, and contradictory misinformation. It is the science of exercise that he has shown that I apply to every client, in every situation. People often say, ""yeah, but all people are different, and everyone responds differently to exercise."" This is a completely false statement, made into common “knowledge” by the fitness industry!! Every single person's body responds EXACTLY the same to exercise stress. To say that everyone responds differently is a way to keep the fitness industry making money by keeping you continually confused and desperately looking for ""something"" that works for you. Let me show you the real answer, the answer that is based purely on science, not tradition and half-truths. You deserve to know the truth. You deserve to have every single workout designed specifically for you, not set up in a traditional workout program!! Let me expose the truth to you and allow you to see for yourself that you should get results every time you step in the gym. "
